AFL boss calls for zero tolerance on players’ poor behaviour in wake of Swans scandal
Australian Football League commissioner Mark Evans called for zero tolerance of player misconduct after a scandal involving the Sydney Swans. He warned that any breach of the league’s behavioural standards could lead to exclusion from the sport, within the AFL. Evans said tolerating off‑field incidents would damage the competition’s integrity and will not be accepted.
