₹8 milk price hike to push tea, coffee prices up by ₹5
India's government raised the official milk price by ₹8 per litre, the largest increase since April 2025. The move is expected to raise the cost of tea and coffee by about ₹5 per litre. Earlier, milk prices were raised by ₹4 in April 2025 and by ₹2 in June 2024 when the state added 50 ml to 500‑ml packets.
