Upa Lokayukta finds expired food items in eateries in Belagavi bus stand
The Uttar Pradesh Lokayukta’s deputy, Justice (retd.) B. Veerappa, reported that several food stalls at the Belagavi bus station were selling items past their expiry dates. He also highlighted poor sanitation in the station’s washrooms and inadequate waste removal across the premises, urging authorities to enforce food safety rules. He called for immediate corrective action and stricter monitoring of vendors.
