Mandal level committees to oversee El Niño mitigation measures in Telangana
Telangana's state government has set up committees at the mandal level to monitor and implement measures against the effects of the El Niño weather pattern. The bodies will coordinate actions to protect water supplies, support farming, safeguard livestock and preserve rural incomes, aiming to reduce the anticipated adverse impacts on agriculture and livelihoods across the region.
