Maoists are defeated, but arms cache and crores of money unaccounted for: LWE researcher
At a launch in Hyderabad, a new book called India’s Maoists: Glimpses into Red Insurgency was introduced. A researcher from the Left-wing Extremism (LWE) project said that while the Maoist movement has been largely subdued, large caches of weapons and several crore rupees remain untraced. The publication examines the insurgency’s history, tactics and current status.
