Stalin demands apology from Tamil Nadu CM Vijay for detention of MIDS professor
Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has asked Tamil Nadu minister Vijay to apologise after a professor from the Madras Institute of Development Studies was taken into custody. Stalin said the incident reflected a “fascist attitude” by the Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) party, urging the government to correct the action and restore academic freedom. He called it the height of the party's authoritarian stance.
