Leaving VMware Just Got Harder After Broadcom Pulled VDDK Downloads
Broadcom, which recently acquired VMware, has removed public access to the Virtual Disk Development Kit (VDDK) from its download site. The change means developers and administrators can no longer easily obtain the toolkit needed to manage VMware virtual disks, complicating migration or alternative solutions. Broadcom has not provided a replacement or timeline for restoring access.
