GBA plans stricter safety norms for PG accommodations
Gujarat Building Authority is drafting a new standard operating procedure to impose stricter safety regulations on paid guest accommodations. The guidelines will cover fire safety, structural standards, limits on building size, mandatory fire exits, food hygiene requirements, surveillance systems, and regular audits. The aim is to enhance safety and compliance for PG hosts and guests.
