Balakrishna key to TDP solidifying control of Hindupur Municipality
The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has secured two of the 52 wards in Hindupur municipality without opposition, leaving 50 wards to be contested. Party leader Balakrishna is seen as crucial for consolidating TDP’s position. The broader NDA alliance still requires an additional 25 ward victories to achieve a majority and assume control of the municipal body.
