According to The Hindu, the Belagavi district in Karnataka now records approximately 3.635 million registered voters following the recent revision of the electoral roll. This increase makes it the state's largest revenue district in terms of electorate size, surpassing other districts in the number of eligible voters. The 36.35 lakh total, issued by the Election Commission, puts Belagavi ahead.
