Naidu writes to Amit Shah, seeks Central aid for cyclone damage in Andhra Pradesh
Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Naidu has written to Union Home Minister Amit Shah requesting central assistance after a cyclone struck Andhra Pradesh. He asked for ongoing National Disaster Response Force support and an early deployment of a central assessment team to evaluate damage to agriculture, housing, roads and power networks. The cyclone forced the evacuation of more than 28,000 residents.
