Sensex declines 353 points, dragged by Reliance, IT stocks, rising crude oil prices
India’s benchmark BSE Sensex ended lower, slipping 352.64 points, or about 0.48%, to 73,246.03. The index had earlier plunged 995.1 points, a 1.35% drop, to 72,603.57 before recovering. Losses were led by shares of Reliance Industries and information‑technology firms, while higher crude oil prices added pressure on the market. Analysts noted that the rise in global oil prices contributed to the bearish sentiment across sectors.
