Karnataka Council polls: BJP-JD(S) alliance sweeps all four seats
The BJP-JD(S) alliance won every seat in Karnataka’s council elections, taking all four contested positions. The most notable defeat for the Congress occurred in the Bengaluru Teachers constituency, where long‑time MLC and former Deputy Chairman Puttanna was unseated by NDA candidate A.P. Ranganath. The results mark a clean sweep for the ruling coalition in the state.
