Rajnath Singh, Hegseth review progress of India-U.S. defence pact
India’s defence minister Rajnath Singh met with U.S. official Richard Hegseth to assess the implementation of the defence framework agreement signed in October 2023. The pact outlines a comprehensive roadmap to deepen security cooperation, including joint exercises, technology sharing and capacity building. Both sides said they remain committed to advancing the bilateral defence partnership. The review also covered progress on ongoing projects and set timelines for initiatives.
