Govt. collects ₹3.25 lakh cr. in taxes against ₹19,000 cr. mobile PLI: Vaishnaw
India’s government reported collecting about ₹3.25 lakh crore in taxes, while the Production‑Linked Incentive scheme for mobiles accounted for roughly ₹19,000 crore. Official data, according to the ministry, show mobile phone exports reached ₹2 lakh crore in FY 2025, and imports fell to just 0.02 % of domestic demand in 2024‑25, down from 75 % a decade earlier.
