Infiltrators apprehended in Assam's Dhubri, handed over to BSF: CM Himanta
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that security forces detained a group of illegal entrants in Dhubri district of Assam and have handed them over to the Border Security Force for processing. He noted that Assam’s Sribhumi, Cachar, Dhubri and South Salmara‑Mankachar districts together border Bangladesh for about 267.5 kilometres, underscoring ongoing cross‑border infiltration concerns.
