Kapil Sibal seeks SC intervention over ‘bulk deletions’ from voters’ lists
Former Union Minister Kapil Sibal has asked the Supreme Court to intervene after a report claimed that large numbers of voter registrations were being removed in Jharkhand. The report alleges that workers of the ruling BJP submitted mass applications to delete names from the electoral roll. Sibal says the practice threatens democratic participation and seeks judicial review.
