Wednesday briefing: We asked you - what do you want from the Burnham government’s first budget?
Readers of the Guardian’s Wednesday briefing were surveyed about priorities for the Burnham government’s inaugural budget. The poll highlighted concerns from ordinary citizens and those facing cost‑of‑living pressures, who suggested measures such as tax relief, increased social support, and policies to curb inflation. The responses aim to guide policymakers toward actions that could improve everyday life.
