Uttar Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Gyanesh Kumar issued a public apology after a social media exchange with AAP leader Sanjay Singh. Singh had asked how the phrase 'Ramhit Yadav' was altered to 'Ram ne Yadav ko Maara' in the legislative council voter list. Kumar said his replies were too sharp and not suitable for an official account.
