Retired PSU staff ask President to expedite pension hikes
Retired PSU employees have urged the President to use her moral authority to speed up pension increases. The National Council of Pensioners (NCPA) called on the President to direct the Ministry of Labour & Employment and the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) to immediately revoke a circular issued on January 18, 2025. This move follows growing concerns over delayed payments and the impact on retirees' livelihoods.
