Kannur Corporation to press for double-decker bus service connecting tourism destinations
Kannur Municipal Corporation plans to lobby the state government for a dedicated double‑deck bus route linking key tourist sites, including St Angelo Fort, Payyambalam Beach and Muzhappilangad Beach. Mayor P Indra said the proposal aims to improve connectivity for visitors and boost local tourism. The corporation hopes the service will cut traffic congestion, offer an eco‑friendly transport option and attract more travelers to the region.
