Pawan Kalyan directs evacuation of people from cyclone-prone areas in Kakinada district
Pawan Kalyan, a regional political leader, ordered the evacuation of residents in Kakinada district's cyclone‑prone zones. Authorities will relocate over 15,000 individuals from 92 at‑risk villages and are instructed to stock relief centres with food, water and medical supplies. Officials have been directed to maintain power and communication lines throughout the operation.
