IISc-based FSID to undertake 1,000 industry projects, build a portfolio of 300 deep-tech start-ups by 2030
India’s Indian Institute of Science (IISc) has announced that its Foundation for Science and Innovation Development (FSID) will target 1,000 collaborative industry projects and aim to assemble a portfolio of 300 deep‑technology start‑ups by 2030. The initiative seeks to accelerate research commercialization, foster entrepreneurship, and strengthen ties between academia and the private sector across the country.
