Tamil Nadu CM Vijay announces bonus, ex gratia for ‘C’ and ‘D’ category employees in public sector undertakings
Tamil Nadu chief minister Vijay announced that staff in ‘C’ and ‘D’ categories of profit‑making public sector companies will receive a bonus of 8.33 % of salary and an ex‑gratia of 11.67 %. The scheme applies only to those employees in the state’s enterprises. The move is part of the government’s effort to reward workers in profitable undertakings.
