Rajnath Singh calls for ‘Aatmanirbharta 2.0’ in defence, stresses advanced technologies and resilient supply chains
India's defence minister Rajnath Singh urged the country to move to a second phase of self‑reliance, calling it “Aatmanirbharta 2.0.” He said the next stage should build on progress of the past ten years and concentrate on mastering advanced technologies and creating robust, domestic supply chains for defence equipment, reducing dependence on foreign sources and enhancing strategic autonomy.
