Andhra Pradesh braces for 11th very severe cyclonic storm
The Indian Meteorological Department has warned that Andhra Pradesh may face its 11th very severe cyclonic storm (VSCS), the first of its kind to hit the state since Titli in 2018. Between 1970 and 2023, the agency recorded 10 VSCS events. Officials have issued advisories, and coastal communities are being briefed on evacuation routes.
