Award-winning director-cinematographer Chezhiyan no more
Renowned Indian director and cinematographer Chezhiyan has passed away. Known for his minimalist filmmaking, he often eschewed conventional elements, as seen in his film To Let, which omitted a background score despite music’s prominence in Tamil cinema. His distinctive approach earned critical acclaim and several awards, leaving a notable legacy and inspired future filmmakers in the industry.
