Karnataka Minister Yathindra Siddaramaiah rejects Pramoda Devi’s Jamboo Savari suggestion, says government ready to address grievances
State minister Yathindra Siddaramaiah dismissed former royal Pramoda Devi’s proposal to include a Jamboo Savari procession in the Dasara festivities. He emphasized that the Palace Board and the palace, apart from the residential allotment for the erstwhile royal family, are under Karnataka government control, giving the authorities the right to determine the celebration’s format. He added the government is prepared to hear any complaints.
