Jammu and Kashmir’s state cabinet will be enlarged, with a swearing‑in ceremony set for 27 October, according to a statement from National Conference spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq. He said that senior party figures, including Omar Abdullah and party president Farooq Abdullah, will determine which new members are appointed to the Council of Ministers and the specific portfolios will be allocated later.
