MVD mulls app for dynamic bus-scheduling to prevent reckless driving in Greater Kochi
The Kochi Metropolitan Transport Authority, led by the state transport minister, is evaluating a mobile application that would enable real‑time bus scheduling across Greater Kochi. Officials say the fixed travel times set four decades ago no longer match the surge in vehicle numbers and growing road and junction congestion, and the app aims to curb reckless driving and improve traffic flow.
