Naseeruddin Shah wants to weaken democracy in country: BJP
BJP leader Amit Shah alleged that veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah is seeking to undermine India's democratic system after Shah called on 'right‑minded' citizens to back the demands of students at the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute. Shah's remarks were made in response to the institute's protests over academic and administrative issues, prompting the party to label his appeal as anti‑democratic.
