Telangana government to divert Godavari water to areas dependent on depleting Singur, Manjira reservoirs
Telangana's government is constructing a pipeline link to transfer water from the Godavari River to regions that currently depend on the dwindling Singur and Manjira reservoirs. The interconnection work, near Velimela village close to the Outer Ring Road, will join the 3,000‑mm Godavari ring main with the 1,200‑mm Manjira Phase‑III and IV gravity mains, aiming to augment supply.
