Some Devaswom officials involved in ghee scam, claims Keralam Minister Muraleedharan
Kerala minister K. Muraleedharan alleged that certain Devaswom officials participated in a ghee fraud. The state's Vigilance and Anti‑Corruption Bureau’s special unit detained a transport contractor accused of siphoning about 11,000 litres of Milma ghee intended for the Sabarimala shrine and substituting it with a lower‑cost alternative, resulting in an estimated loss of roughly ₹2.5 crore to the temple development board.
