India’s Ministry of Home Affairs ordered the rapid deployment of two Rashtriya Rifles units, totaling roughly 250 soldiers, to the conflict‑prone districts of Arunachal Pradesh. The troops will be transported by an Indian Air Force aircraft from Navi Mumbai to the northeastern state, aiming to strengthen security and maintain law and order amid recent violence in the region.
