Amit Shah hails ‘lethal blow’ to international narco-cartel following anti-narcotics operation in Assam, Mizoram and Manipur
Union Home Minister Amit Shah praised a recent anti‑narcotics raid across Assam, Mizoram and Manipur, saying it dealt a decisive strike to an international drug cartel. Coordinated by several agencies, the operation uncovered hawala transfers estimated at ₹100 crore, led to the freezing of 1,424 bank accounts and the attachment of property valued at roughly ₹17.8 crore.
