Talks between JAC and government inconclusive, autodrivers, app based unions to launch fresh agitation
Negotiations between the Joint Action Committee representing auto‑rickshaw drivers and the government ended without agreement, according to JAC officials. The leaders said the government's approach appeared deliberately slow. In response, the drivers' union and app‑based ride‑share worker groups announced they will commence a new round of protests to press their demands, including road blockades and rallies in major cities.
