Plan for future urban demands, Minister tells Raichur officials
Minister Dr. Yathindra addressed officials in Raichur, urging them to prepare for Yadgir’s growing water requirements. He noted the city, home to about 350,000 residents, presently gets 52 million litres per day, falling short of the estimated 90 million litres needed. The minister emphasized the need for long‑term planning to meet future urban demand. He also highlighted the importance of upgrading water supply infrastructure.
