A development dream linked to Ravana’s birthplace
Two temples in Bisrakh, a village near Greater Noida, assert they occupy the exact location where the mythic demon king Ravana was born. Priests from the closely spaced shrines are contesting this claim, while residents hope the association will attract recognition, improve roads, increase visitor numbers and generate financial support and cultural preservation for the community.
