We only tried to make Thirumavalavan the Chief Minister, says Dhinakaran
Party leader Dhinakaran stated that his group’s effort to install Thirumavalavan as chief minister was merely an attempt, not a definitive plan. He explained that the move was prompted by the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam’s insufficient backing among legislators, which left them unable to secure the necessary majority for a formal nomination. Consequently, the proposal was not advanced further.
