Another worker succumbs to injuries in Vellore; cracker unit owner arrested
An additional worker died from injuries at a fireworks factory in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, leading to the arrest of the unit’s owner for alleged safety violations. The death follows a prior fatal accident at the same site. District collector P.S. Leela Alex handed ₹4 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund to the victims’ families.
