Kerala police have filed charges against social media influencer Darren for allegedly posting communally divisive hate speech on Instagram. The indictment follows criticism of the state’s UDF government for purportedly receiving Arab funding to promote Islam. BJP leader G. Krishnan Kumar’s daughter, Diya Krishna, said she shared Darren’s post as a ‘sad reality’ without viewing the entire video.
