Current struggle not merely limited to resignation Gyanesh Kumar, it is also a fight to regain democratic space: CPI(M) MP John Brittas
CPI(M) MP John Brittas said the ongoing conflict extends beyond a resignation issue, describing it as a battle to restore democratic space. He accused the Union government of employing harsher measures against a second wave of protests, arguing that BJP leaders fear any further concession could lead to severe, far‑reaching repercussions. He warned that such a scenario would undermine public confidence and intensify political tensions.
