More than third of post offices in TG Jones stores to shut by early 2027
More than one‑third of the post office branches operating inside TG Jones retail locations are slated to close by early 2027. The outlets, which were previously part of the WH Smith network, will be withdrawn as the company restructures its partnership. Analysts warn the reductions could leave many town centres with limited postal services, creating so‑called ‘postal deserts’.
