The state chief minister has instructed officials to prepare to persuade Maharashtra to approve a 152‑metre free‑flow level barrage at Tummidihatti. Meanwhile, Revanth Reddy has ordered arrangements to divert an additional 0.6 thousand million cubic feet of water from the Srisailam reservoir for the Dindi and Achampet projects, employing the PRLIS pumping system to meet the region's growing irrigation demands.
