Mysuru-Bengaluru highway blocked at toll plaza for two hours due to farmers’ protest
Farmers, led by Melukote MLA Darshan Puttannaiah and KRRS chief Badagalapura Nagendra, blocked the Mysuru‑Bengaluru highway at a toll plaza for two hours. The protest, organized by the Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha, aimed to demand better support for farmers. The blockade disrupted traffic between Mysuru and Bengaluru, prompting authorities to intervene and restore flow. Police escorted the farmers to a nearby location after negotiations.
