At least five dead as PG accommodation building collapses in Delhi
At least five people were killed when a five‑storey hostel in Delhi collapsed, authorities said. Police have lodged a first‑information report against Hariram Bansal, the proprietor of Hostel Daze, alleging negligence. The structure was undergoing basement repairs, and neighbours reported a weak foundation and water seepage as possible causes of the failure. Rescue teams were dispatched to the site.
