IIT-Madras announces research projects on AI, seeks to study feasibility of small data centres
IIT Madras has launched a series of research initiatives aimed at advancing artificial intelligence and evaluating the practicality of compact data‑center models. The projects will involve faculty and graduate students, with support from government and industry partners, to assess performance, cost and energy efficiency of smaller facilities that could serve regional computing needs across India.
