Tenders floated for elevated corridor from Lighthouse to Thiru. Vi. Ka. Bridge
The state's Highways Department has issued tenders seeking consultants to draft a detailed project report for an elevated road linking the Lighthouse area to the Thiru. Vi. Ka. Bridge. The alignment will follow Santhome High Road, Greenways Road and Durgabai Deshmukh Road, featuring a two‑lane section of roughly 1.8 km and four lanes for the remaining distance. Completion is targeted within two years.
