Om Prakash Mathur, appointed as the next governor of Kerala, landed in Thiruvananthapuram ahead of his oath ceremony scheduled for October 23. Upon arrival, he expressed great pleasure at visiting the state for the first time and praised Kerala’s natural scenery and cultural heritage. He described the region as "God's Own Country", noting its blessed traditions.
