Quad9 (DNS Resolver) to Exit France
Quad9, the nonprofit DNS security service, announced it will cease operations in France. The company said the decision follows challenges complying with French data‑retention rules and concerns about user privacy. As a result, French internet users will no longer benefit from Quad9’s filtering of malicious domains, and the service will redirect traffic to alternative resolvers globally.
